[Liar] Raid Mindset
INTRODUCTION
Raiding is team-focused content where effort and attitude matter far more than raw experience. To keep communication fair, impartial, and constructive, we run two distinct paths. Training raids are led by @Hokk and focus on teaching mechanics, confidence, and build fundamentals in raid encounters. Advanced progression is led by @Selfrom and focuses on high-level execution, team efficiency, and clearing the game's most challenging content.
Our Philosophy
While we welcome players of all experience levels, we don't carry passive players looking for free loot. Success requires genuine focus and respect for everyone’s time. We expect raiders to show up as such, and keep outside distractions turned off during runs. Active communication is mandatory both inside and outside of raids. Speak up when you need help, call out mechanics during fights, and ask questions between runs.
Expectations & Preparation
Before stepping into a raid, players need a proper foundation. Your gear baseline should be full Exotic armor, weapons and trinkets, and aligned with established focus for your role (dps, quickdps, etc.). Preparation happens before battle, so practice your skill rotation on the DPS golem, review guides, and understand your class's core mechanics.
Execution & Teamwork
Group success comes down to flexibility and execution. The more roles you can play, the easier it is for the team to adapt and tackle different bosses. During encounters, focus on mechanical awareness such as saving crowd-control skills for breakbars, maintaining proper positioning for group boons, and manage additional enemies immediately. For build guides, rotations, and encounter breakdowns, players are expected to utilize resources like Snow Crows and Hardstuck.
